Anna Frants, Festival Curator
Anna Frants is an international new media curator and artist who co-founded CYLAND as well as founded St Petersburg Art Project. An important voice in the cultural dialogue of experimental art, Frants has served as a contributing writer to NYArtsmagazine and Art & Antiques Magazines.
Anna Frants’ interactive art installations have been exhibited at top venues across the world. Recent highlights from 2009-present include exhibiting in the St Petersburg Biennial, Moscow Biennial and Polish Biennial, KuoseinoSato Museum of Contemporary Art (Fukuoka, Japan), The Museum of Art and Design (New York, USA), The State Hermitage Museum (St Petersburg, Russia), Chelsea Art Museum (New York, USA), RSProjects (Berlin, Germany), VAP / Gogolfest (Kiev, Ukraine) and Transmediale (Berlin, Germany) as well as participating in a 17 day expedition to The Arctic Circle with The Farm Foundation of Arts and Sciences. Frants is represented by Dam, Stuhltrager Gallery (Brooklyn, USA & Berlin, Germany) and Barbarian Gallery (Zurich, Switzerland).

Elena Gubanova, Festival Curator
Since 1987 Elena Gubanova has been a member of the Union of Artists of St. Petersburg. Lives in St. Petersburg, Russia. Since 1990 she has worked and has been exhibited together with Ivan Govorkov. Katya Bochavar, Festival Curator
By specializing on site-specific installations, Katya Bochavar uses the “here and now” approach in all fields of her artistic activities whether it be art works, curatorial, architectural and theatrical practices or creation of jewelry. She employs the combinatorial method as the basic approach of her artistic practices. Viktoria Ilyushkina, Video Art Curator Victoria Ilyushkina (St Petersburg) holds a degree in Art History and Theory from the Russian Academy of Arts and New Media Program at Pro Arte Institute. She began her career as a curator working with the NCCA (National Contemporary Art Center) in Saint Petersburg. Since 2009, Ilyushkina has served as curator for the CYLAND’s video archive and the CYBERFEST video program. During her time at the helm, both the archive and the CYBERFEST video program have grown internationally with featured screenings at Platoon Kunsthalle in Berlin, Germany; Empire Projects, Istanbul; programming at the Venice Biennale, the New York Media Center and more. Ilyushkina has also curated the international video festival VIDEOFORMA, served on the jury of the Oberhausen International Short Film Festival, and organized exhibitions at S.Kuryokhin Contemporary Arts Center, where she serves on the committee presiding over the prestigious annual award. ______________________________________________________________ |

Leah Stuhltrager, Project Manager
Stuhltrager unites Art & Tech as a gallerist, curator and project manager. Highlights include projects at Lincoln Center, Coachella, E-Halle, Contemporary Istanbul, Circulo de Bellas Artes, The Hermitage Museum, The Oriental Pearl Tower, Cà Foscari Zattere during the Venice Biennale, Cyberfest & Berlin Days at Roppongi Hills, Art Meets Tech (AMT) and initiatives building industry bridges between America, Europe & Asia. Founding her project space (Dam Stuhltrager in Williamsburg, Brooklyn) in 1998, Stuhltrager opened a German annex in 2009 which became THE WYE in 2012. Lizaveta Matveeva, PR and communication coordinator
Born in 1991 in Archangelsk, Russia, Lizaveta has lived in St. Petersburg since she was eight. She graduated from St. Petersburg State University with a degree in journalism with a focus on contemporary art criticism. She continued her education with Sergey Bugaev-Afrika, Victor Miziano and Olesya Turkina and received a Masters' Degree from St. Petersburg State University. Lizaveta is currently working as a curatorial assistant at LUDA, a non-profit gallery, and as an art-manager at CEC ArtsLink Back Apartment Residency. She also writes articles for print and on-line periodicals such as AroundArt.Ru, Dialog Iskusstv, Art1.ru, The Art Newspaper Russia as well as for exhibition catalogues. ______________________________________________________________ |
